2015 Green Valley Rosé of Pinot Noir
Devoto Garden Vineyard
Our 2015 Green Valley Rosé of Pinot Noir, Devoto Garden Vineyard, was produced de saignée during day two of the cold soak of our Pinot Noir picks at the Devoto Garden Vineyard.
It was wild fermented slowly at 58F in a neutral oak barrel with viable yeasts brought over from the wild ferment of our Pinot Noir. The secondary, malo-lactic fermentation was arrested in January to preserve a small amount of natural malic acid.
The result is a very electric, food-friendly wine, a perfect companion to a warm day or night.
